James Bond’s Vesper Martini

Drink: James Bond’s Vesper Martini
Type: Alcoholic
From: The Chesterfield
Description: Silky

This classic cocktail was popularized as the “shaken, not stirred” cocktail ordered (and invented) by James Bond in the original Casino Royale novel published in 1953. The Chesterfield, located downtown in The Alamo Drafthouse, does a wonderfully balanced version of it.

The drink: light, smooth, silky, sweet.

Made with vodka, gin, and Lillet Blanc, the cocktail lends itself to an incredibly smooth mouthfeel and has a natural sweetness to it. It’s perfect for sipping on in The Chesterfield’s classically lovely bar or while watching a movie in the Drafthouse theatres.
